Eric Lopshire

I have been married to Marti for nearly 30 years (in August 2026).  I have 6 sons and a daughter, and 2 grandsons. 

I was a charter member of Council 14299 St Joseph in Fort Wayne in 2007.  After moving to Huntington, I transferred to Council 1014 where I volunteered at the club as a captain for a fish fry crew, and a bartender, as well as operating a chili cookoff for 10 years.  During that time I helped on the 1st degree initiations. 

I graduated from Indiana University with degrees in History and Religious Studies. 

I worked for 20 years in the family business as a butcher and meatcutter. 

After many years competing in wrestling as a young person, I began a career as an official.  I have officiated at local, state, and national level events, in youth, high school, college, and senior divisions over the last 27 years. 

I service Council 718 in Peru, 623 in Marion, 1014 in Huntington, 2957 in Wabash, 13142 in Yoder, 9460 in Fort Wayne and the soon-to-be new council in Roanoke.
